Terms of Service
Last updated: March 30, 2026
1. Service Description
Wauldo provides a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) API service. You upload documents, and Wauldo lets you query them using AI-powered search with verified, source-cited answers. The service is accessed via API through RapidAPI or directly at api.wauldo.com.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose or to process illegal content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying models or infrastructure
- Abuse the API with automated requests designed to degrade service for others
- Upload malicious files, malware, or content that violates third-party rights
- Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or tenant isolation mechanisms
3. API Usage and Rate Limits
API access is subject to rate limits based on your subscription plan (Basic, Pro, Ultra, or Mega). Exceeding your plan's limits will result in throttled requests until your quota resets. We reserve the right to adjust rate limits to maintain service quality.
4. Payment and Billing
Billing is handled through RapidAPI. All payments, invoices, and refunds are governed by RapidAPI's terms and policies. Wauldo does not process payments directly.
5. Your Data
Documents you upload are processed and stored to enable query functionality. Your data is isolated per tenant — no other user can access your documents. You retain full ownership of your content. When you delete a collection, the associated documents and chunks are removed.
6. Limitation of Liability
Wauldo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated answers may contain inaccuracies despite our anti-hallucination systems. You should not rely on Wauldo outputs as the sole basis for critical decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wauldo's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim.
7. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, provider outages, or infrastructure issues may cause temporary downtime. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in activity that harms other users or our infrastructure. You may stop using the service at any time by canceling your subscription through RapidAPI.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website.
